ABOUT
STATEMENT OF FAITH
Youth With A Mission (YWAM) is an international movement of Christians from many denominations dedicated to presenting Jesus personally to this and future generations, to mobilizing as many as possible to help in this task, and to the training and equipping of believers for their part in fulfilling the Great Commission. As citizens of God’s kingdom, we are called to love, worship, and obey our Lord, to love and serve His body, the Church, and to love all peoples everywhere, which includes presenting the whole Gospel for the whole person throughout the whole world.
We believe in God–Father, Son and Holy Spirit–and that the Bible is God’s inspired and authoritative Word, revealing that Jesus Christ is God’s Son, fully God and fully human; that people are created in God’s image; that He created us to have eternal life through Jesus Christ; that although all people have sinned and come short of God’s glory, God has made salvation possible through the incarnation, life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ; that repentance, faith, love and obedience are fitting responses to God’s initiative of grace toward us through the active ministry of the Holy Spirit; that God desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth; and that the Holy Spirit’s power is demonstrated in and through us for the accomplishment of Christ’s last commandments, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone” (Mark 16:15 NLT) and “Go and make disciples of all the nations…” (Matthew 28:19 NLT).

OUR STORY
The EveryHeart Movement was co-founded by Brennan Joseph, Bryce Bauman and Jonah Engle in 2019. The dream, began when Bryce and Jonah were attending school at Spring Arbor University in southern Michigan and Brennan was attending Cornerstone University in West Michigan. In college they had each encountered the Holy Spirit in significant ways and God began to give them a heart to reach the lost with the Gospel. This passion ultimately led them and a few more friends to spend their summer getting in an RV and traveling around America for a summer to preach the gospel through the streets, serve cities, and lead evangelistic worship nights in the heart of each city on the first ever “EveryHeart Tour”.
Prior to this summer, Brennan started a ministry at his college campus called Met By Love where he and some friends would host worship nights in a classroom with a heart to see their campus truly see Jesus. After they got back from the first summer tour, Brennan went back to school to start his second year of leading Met By Love and the three of them began to ask the Lord what was next. It was then that the Lord started to reveal there was more He wanted to do through them together. As they prayed God spoke that the mission of this movement was not only to see a generation met by love but also sent by love.
This meant that these two ministries were supposed to come together to pursue the fulfillment of this word, birthing the EveryHeart Movement. In obedience to this word they launched MBL’s on local college campuses and believed that from this community they could find more young evangelists to be sent out on tours. In 2021, the movement multiplied from one campus to six campuses and that summer tour grew from one tour team to six tour teams, the college campus community grew from 50 to 500 people and the tour grew from six dudes in an RV to 48 young people in vans.
Since then hundreds of young people have been sent on evangelistic tours around America and other nations and MBL's have been launched on college campuses all over America. In 2022, a prayer room was birthed and our Sunday Nights community began to form as weekly gatherings of worship and teaching started locally. In 2024, the EveryHeart Movement joined the YWAM family and started running discipleship training schools alongside all of these other initiatives with the same mission in mind, to see a generation met and sent by the love of Jesus. God is continuing to write the story of this movement and each year new pages are written.
